The documentary requirement
The goal was to enrich a large public library network catalog. Article-level records make periodical content visible by topic, whereas a traditional catalog mainly describes a journal or an issue.
Straightforward portal integration

This feedback was attributed to Cyril Cales, multimedia manager. Records were imported into Nanook so they could be offered directly in the users' documentary environment.
